We are challenging listeners to get outdoors and walk to raise money for Classic FM’s charity, Global’s Make Some Noise. All you have to do is plan a walk, set up a fundraising page and raise some money! For more information see our how-to guide HERE

Your walk can take place wherever you like! Presenters and listeners are going to be walking all over the country. Take a look at our how-to guide HERE for some inspiration.

We are going to be walking on 7th and 8th September for Classic FM’s birthday, but feel free to choose your own September date, or even set yourself a target of miles to walk across the whole month!

To get started, take a look at our how-to guide HERE and then set up your Charity Checkout fundraising page HERE. You’ll need to provide some basic information, but your page can be set up in minutes!

Remember to circulate your fundraising page to friends, family and colleagues in plenty of time, and be sure to send it around just before and after your walk as well. You can also top up your total by organising a quick and easy fundraising activity. Our fundraising guide HERE is packed full of tips. All money should be paid in via your personal Charity Checkout page.

The easiest way is to bank the cash and then pay the money in to your Charity Checkout page yourself by clicking ‘Donate’ at the top of the page.

You can also send the charity a cheque made payable to ‘Global’s Make Some Noise’ and addressed to Classic FM’s Big Walk, Global Charities, 30 Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7LA. The cheque must have your name and reference ‘Classic FM’s Big Walk’ on the back, otherwise we won’t be able to match it up with your page! Please don’t pay the money in any other way as we won’t know it’s you! You can then update the total on your Charity Checkout page by clicking ‘Add offline donation’ on your page and entering the amount that you have sent to us.

Once you have received your first donation on your Charity Checkout page, you will be eligible to receive your Classic FM pin badge. These will be sent out within 7 days of receiving your first donation.
